AGREEMENTS OF JOINT CONFERENCE OF HELICOBACTER INFECTION
 

1. Title: ¡®the Annual conference of Korea-Japan or Japan-Korea Joint meeting on Helicobacter Research¡¯ here in after referred to as ¡®the Joint Conference¡¯. The hosting country name precedes the visiting country in the title. 

2. Time and place:  the Joint conference is to be held annually by the hosting country, alternatively, during the national spring meeting in hosting countries. 

3. Next conference (named the 11thJoint conference to inherit the spirit of previous conferences) will be held in Japan in a half-day joint conference during the annual scientific meeting of JSHR, 29th-30th, June, 2011 in Okayama. The final program will be determined through mail/e- mail communications before the end of this year.

4. Participating countries: Japan and Korea will be the official hosting countries for the Joint conference while other countries may participate as attendees if both countries agree on their participation during the preceding board meeting

5. Official representatives for Japan and Korea for further communications and discussions will be Prof Sugiyama and Prof Dong Ho Lee until next year (2014)

6. Program: the Joint conference will consists of 1. Conference forums (basic or clinical or translational) 2. Poster presentations. (presented by attendees from both countries, prefererably young investigators)
7. Topics of the next Joint conference is to be decided by either board meeting in the hosting country(separate day or during the national fall conference date) or thorough mail/e-mail communications.  

8. Poster presenters: approximately 10-15 presenters selected by each country. Partial financial supports may be available in the form of travel grants presented by the organizing committee.
