Borrmann type IV gastric cancer

Borrmann type IV gastric cancer is a unique type of gastric cancer with following characteristics. (1) High index of suspicion is required for the endoscopic diagnosis. (2) High rate of false negative endoscopy. (3) The sensitivity of endoscopic forceps biopsy is low. (4) More common in young female. In this lecture, I¡¯d like to show as many as clinical cases with emphasis on the mindset of the endoscopist.
