앞과 마찬가지로 누군지 잊었지만 어떤 분이 BGU scar stage를 다음과 같다고 말하였다.
Regenerating epithelium completely covers the floor of the ulcer, replacing the white coating
Scar stage 1 = Red scar stage
Scar stage 2 = White scar stage = mature epithelium becomes indistinguishable from the surrounding mucosa
