1) Critical item: objects that enter sterile tissue or the vascular system. 수술도구, catheter 등입니다.
2) Semi-critical item: objects that contact with mucous membranes or with skin that is not intact. 내시경, endotracheal tube 등입니다.
3) Non-critical item : objects that contact with intact skin but not with mucous membrane. 청진기, 가구, 의류 등입니다.
요컨데 내시경은 semicritical item으로 분류되며 high-level disinfection 대상입니다. 멸균이 아닙니다.
