[BGU A1 (1)]

누군지 잊었지만 어떤 분이 BGU A1을 다음과 같다고 말하였다. 잘 정리된 것이라 생각한다.

1) Ulcer base is typically round or oval and regular with smooth, punched-out appearance

2) Covered with an adherent clot or stained with dark spots reminiscent of old bleeding

3) Whitish coating of the base of ulcer

4) Edematous, smooth margins develops surrounding the ulcer base

5) No regenerating epithelium nor converging folds

말하자면 BGU A1은 막 궤양이 발생한 상태로 ulcer crater는 작을 수도 있고 클 수도 있지만 edema는 심하고 재생상피나 점막주름은 거의 없다. 아래 사진은 지금까지 필자가 본 BGU A1 중에서도 가장 acute한 상태의 예이다. Ulcer crater는 작지만 부종은 엄청 심하였다. 물론 개업가에서 보내온 사진이다. 대학병원에서는 이런 경우를 보는 것은 거의 불가능하다.
