[Natural history of gastric cancer]

AGC involving half of the circumference of the antrum was found. After staging workup, surgery was recommended but the patient refused to be operated. Thirteen months later, the old lady visited the hospital due to vomiting and weight loss. She was transferred to me. Surgery was done. There were multiple metastatic lymph nodes (N3) and a few seeding nodules in the colonic mesentery. Palliative subtotal gastrectomy was done.
