[UlcerTODAY 017. Pancreas cancer with stomach invasion, which was initially thought as benign gastric ulcers]

A 80 years old gentleman was referred for the further management of gastric ulcers found in the screening endoscopy. Abdominal sonography was not significant. What would you recommend?

I thought it cannot be a usual peptic ulcer. The ulcer crators are small but the surrounding mucosal looked thickened. In addition, the posterior wall aspect of the high body was protruded with central shallow ulceration. The possibility of malignancy should be considered. Actually, I thought it can be an AGC. However, the CT scan showed pancreas mass.

Final diagnosis was pancreas cancer with stomach invasion.
