There are a lot of submucosal fatty tissues around IC valve and A colon. Maybe, it is the reason why lipoma is quite common in this area.

After a biopsy around IC valve and A colon, fatty tissue can be seen. It can mimic a perforation. But, you don't need to worry.

교수님~ 대장 급 질문입니다. 방금 cecum에서 용종있어서 biopsy forcep으로 몇번 뜯어냈는데.. 노란 fat 이 살짝보이는데...ㅜㅜ 혹시 어떻게 생각하세요?

천공은 아닌 것 같습니다. Cecum과 asceding colon은 submucosal fat가 많아서 간혹 바닥이 노랗게 보여 천공은 아닌가 질문을 받는 경우가 있습니다.
