병변의 범위 파악이 어려운 경우였습니다. 들문부 근처의 병소, 즉 proximal margin은 명확히 알 수 있었지만, 위체부 소만의 범위는 알기 어려웠습니다. 어디도 mass로 보이지 않았고 점막하암으로 추정하였는데 수술 후 심달도는 놀랍게도 subserosa였습니다. Total gastrectomy + chemotherapy + RT 시행하였으며 5년 이상 재발없이 잘 지내고 계십니다. 다행스러운 일입니다.

2. Gross type : Borrmann type (unclassifiable) (mimicking EGC type IIb)
3. Histologic type : tubular adenocarcinoma, poorly differentiated
4. Histologic type by Lauren : diffuse
5. Size : 10.5x6.5x1.2 cm
6. Depth of invasion : extension to subserosa
7. Resection margin: free from carcinoma
8. Lymph node metastasis : metastasis to 7 out of 92 regional lymph nodes
9. Lymphatic invasion : present
10. Venous invasion : not identified
11. Perineural invasion : present
