크다고 암은 아닙니다. 이 환자는 외부 사진을 가지고 오셨는데, 처음에는 궤양이 좀 더 컸습니다. H. pylori 제균치료를 포함한 궤양 치료를 받으시면서 병소가 빠른 속도로 호전되었습니다.
이 환자는 7년 후 과거 궤양 부위와 동떨어진 위각부에서 위암이 발견되었고 수술을 받으셨습니다.

Early gastric carcinoma
1. Location : middle third, Center at low body and lesser curvature
2. Gross type : EGC type IIc
3. Histologic type : signet-ring cell carcinoma
4. Histologic type by Lauren : diffuse
5. Size : 4x3 cm
6. Depth of invasion : invades submucosa (sm2) (pT1b)
7. Resection margin: free from carcinoma, safety margin: proximal 3 cm, distal 7 cm
8. Lymph node metastasis : no metastasis in 27 regional lymph nodes (pN0)
9. Lymphatic invasion : not identified
10. Venous invasion : not identified
11. Perineural invasion : not identified
12. Peritoneal cytology : negative
13. AJCC stage by 7th edition: T1b N0
