저는 ESD를 2003년 말에 처음 시도해 보았습니다. 사실 ESD라기보다는 거의 EMR-P에 가까웠습니다. 초창기인 2004년에 시술한 환자가 재발하지 않고 외래에 다니고 계셔서 소개합니다. 당시에는 수술밖에 없다고 듣고 오셨는데 내시경으로 치료하게되어 환자와의 관계가 매우 좋아졌습니다. Refer back을 매년 권하지만 도무지 가시지 않습니다.
당시에는 ESD specimen 병리 결과 보고 format이 만들어지기 전입니다. 아주 간결하게 보고되었습니다.
Stomach, antrum, anterior, mucosal resection:
Early gastric carcinoma, EGC type IIc,
Tubular adenocarcinoma, well differentiated, intestinal type;
1) tumor size: 0.3x0.2 cm
2) extension to muscularis mucosa
3) no endolymphatic tumor emboli
4) negative resection margins, (0.6 cm, 0.6 cm, 1 cm and 2.2 cm apart from each resection margins)
