조기위암 work up 도중 LLQ에서 enhance가 잘 되는 종양이 발견되었습니다. 영상의학과에서는 다음과 같이 판독하였습니다. "Left lower quadrant mesentery로 생각되는 부위에 1.9 cm 크기의 enhancing mass lesion이 있으며 내부에 tiny calcification을 동반하고 있음. 비교적 enhancement가 잘 되는 mass로 Castleman's disease, solitary fibrous tumor, carcinoid tumor 혹은 neurogenic tumor와 같은 병변의 가능성을 고려해 볼 수 있겠음."
수술을 하였고 아래의 결과였습니다.

1. Location : lower third, Center at antrum and anterior wall
2. Gross type : EGC type IIc
3. Histologic type : signet-ring cell carcinoma
4. Histologic type by Lauren : diffuse
5. Size : 1.2x0.8 cm
6. Depth of invasion : invades mucosa (lamina propria) (pT1a)
7. Resection margin: free from carcinoma, safety margin: proximal 8 cm, distal 7 cm
8. Lymph node metastasis : no metastasis in 31 regional lymph nodes (pN0)
9. Lymphatic invasion : not identified
10. Venous invasion : not identified
11. Perineural invasion : not identified
12. AJCC stage by 7th edition: T1a N0Colon, segmental resection:
Castleman's disease, mesenteric lymph node
