Cardia를 involve한 EG junction cancer입니다. 병소의 중심은 위체상부 소만, EG junction 직하부입니다 (병리에서는 Siewert type III를 주었군요). 내시경 진단은 EGC IIc라고 부를 수 밖에 없지만, (1) 병소의 위치가 proximal stomach, cardia 직하부인 점, (2) 미분화 조직형인 점을 고려하면 내시경 육안소견보다 깊을 수 있다는 것을 수술 전에 약간 예측할 수 있습니다. "조기위암인 것 같지만 깊을 수 있으니 최종 결과를 봅시다..." 정도

6. Depth of invasion : invades muscularis propria (pT2)
7. Resection margin: free from carcinoma
8. Lymph node metastasis : no metastasis in 51 regional lymph nodes (pN0)
9. Lymphatic invasion : present
10. Venous invasion : not identified
11. Perineural invasion : not identified
12. Peritoneal cytology : negative
13. AJCC stage by 7th edition: pT2 N0
Proper muscle 층까지 침범한 AGC였습니다. 다행스럽게 림프절 전이는 없었습니다.
