Size measurement is not easy. There were multiple small erosive lesions around the malignant ulcer, and the size is larger than the first impression.

병리 결과는 아래와 같았고 생각보다 컸습니다. Deep SM cancer였고 3번 node에 전이가 있었습니다.
1-3. Stomach, subtotal gastrectomy: Early gastric carcinoma
1. Location : lower third, Center at antrum and lesser curvature and posterior wall
2. Gross type : EGC type III
3. Histologic type : signet-ring cell carcinoma
4. Histologic type by Lauren : diffuse
5. Size : 4.2x1.9 cm
6. Depth of invasion : invades submucosa (sm3) (pT1b)
7. Resection margin: free from carcinoma, safety margin: proximal 4.1 cm, distal 4.5 cm
8. Lymph node metastasis : metastasis to 2 out of 33 regional lymph nodes (pN1) (perinodal extension: absent) (2/33: "3", 2/7; "4", 0/2; "5", 0/1; "6", 0/5; "7", 0/2; "9", 0/2; "8a", 0/4; "11p", 0/2; "12a", 0/1; "4sb", 0/1; "1", 0/1; perigastric, 0/5)

생각보다 커서 처음 사진과 재검한 사진을 다시 열어보았습니다. Main ulcer lesion 옆에 작은 erosive lesion들이 있었습니다. 이 모두가 암이었습니다.
요즘 내시경 결과지에 크기 언급이 없는 경우가 많습니다. 크기는 꼭 기술합시다.
