요즘은 외과 선생님들이 ESD를 더 좋아하십니다. 외과에서 저에게 ESD를 위하여 의뢰된 환자였습니다. 외과에서 의뢰되면 가능하면 ESD를 하는 방향으로 decision making을 하고 있지만, 이 환자는 아무래도 수술이 필요한 상황인지라 ESD를 하지 말도록 권했습니다.

1. Location : lower third, Center at antrum and posterior wall
2. Gross type : EGC type IIa+IIc
3. Histologic type : papillary adenocarcinoma, moderately differentiated
4. Histologic type by Lauren : intestinal
5. Size : 2.8x2.6 cm
6. Depth of invasion : invades submucosa (sm2) (pT1b)
7. Resection margin: free from carcinoma, safety margin: proximal 4.3 cm, distal 7.6 cm
8. Lymph node metastasis : no metastasis in 38 regional lymph nodes (pN0) (0/38: "3", 0/9; "4", 0/7; "5", 0/0; "6", 0/5; "7", 0/1; "9", 0/4; "8a", 0/8; "11p", 0/1; "12a", 0/3; "4sb", 0/0; "1", 0/0)
