외부 조직검사에서 consistent with focal adenocarcinoma, signet ring cell type and poorly differentiated 소견으로 의뢰된 분입니다. 경계가 매우 모호한 위암이었습니다. 조직검사 직후 사진이 없었더라면 병소를 찾지 못했을 것입니다.
ESD: Early gastric carcinoma
1. Location : angle, posterior wall
2. Gross type : EGC type IIc
3. Histologic type : signet ring cell carcinoma (70%)+ tubular adenocarcinoma, moderately differentiated (30%)
4. Histologic type by Lauren : mixed
5. Size of carcinoma : (1) longest diameter, 18 mm (2) vertical diameter, 12 mm
6. Depth of invasion : invades mucosa (lamina propria) (pT1a)
7. Resection margin : free from carcinoma(N), safety margin : distal 12 mm, proximal 11 mm, anterior 14 mm, posterior 10 mm, deep 550 ㎛
8. Lymphatic invasion : not identified(N)
9. Venous invasion : not identified(N)
10. Perineural invasion : not identified(N)
11. Pre-existing adenoma : none
12. Microscopic ulcer : absent
13. Histologic heterogeneity: absent
14. Associated finding: Gastritis cystica superficialis
