보만 4형 진행성 위암인데 CT에서 위벽이 유난히 두꺼웠습니다. 수술 후 결과입니다. 크기가 무려 20cm. Mucinous adenocarcinoma로 mucin lake가 위벽을 유난히 두껍게 만든 경우입니다. 과거에는 mucinous adenocarcinoma는 예후가 나쁘다고 알려져 왔습니다. 최근에는 stage by stage로 비교하면 차이가 없다고도 합니다.

- Size : 20x14.5x2.2 cm
- Depth of invasion : extension to subserosa (pT2b)
- Resection margin: free from carcinoma: safety margin: proximal, 4.3 cm; distal, 0.2 cm
- Lymph node metastasis: metastasis to 5 out of 49 regional lymph nodes (pN1)
- Lymphatic invasion : present
- Venous invasion : present (extramural)
- Perineural invasion : not identified
