Natural history of advanced gastric cancer is not known. Is the early morphology of AGC B-II simple dome-like mass or small depressed lesion? There is no exact answer, but you can get some idea from this case.
Small slightly depressed type EGC was found, but treatment was delayed due to hepatocellular carcinoma. Regular follow up endoscopy examinations were done. Four and half years after the initial diagnosis of gastric cancer, surgery can be done.
보만 2형 진행성 위암의 내시경 소견을 이해하기 위하여 "처음에는 dome-like mass가 만들어졌다가 어느 날 갑자기 가운데가 주저앉았다"고 설명하는 경우가 있습니다. 그런데 이 증례를 보면 그렇지 않은 것 같습니다. 보만 2형 진행성 위암은 처음부터 함몰형인 모양입니다.
