첫 조직검사에서 "suspicious MALToma"가 나왔습니다. 모양이 영 아니어서 다시 조직검사를 했고 "M/D adenoca + MALToma"로 나와 수술을 보냈습니다. 최종 결론은 lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma였습니다.

1. Location : upper third, Center at cardia (Siewert III)
2. Gross type : Borrmann type 2
3. Histologic type : Medullary carcinoma (lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma)
4. Histologic type by Lauren : indeterminate
5. Size : 2.2x2.2 cm
6. Depth of invasion : invades muscularis propria (pT2)
7. Resection margin: free from carcinoma, safety margin: proximal 1.4 cm, distal 2 cm
8. Lymph node metastasis : no metastasis in 52 regional lymph nodes (pN0)
9. Lymphatic invasion : not identified
10. Venous invasion : not identified
11. Perineural invasion : not identified
MALToma는 MALToma 같아야 MALToma입니다. MALToma 같지 않은데 MALToma로 나오면 의심해보아야 합니다. 종종 아닌 경우가 있으니까요.
